Our company is a collection of printing and graphics arts specialists.
Seiders Printing Company is one of the oldest continuously operating businesses in the U.S., providing printing services since 1902. We have seen many changes in that long transition from early hand set type, engravings, and letterpress printing … moving carefully through every major technological change since. We’re still going strong!
K-B Offset Printing began operations in 1973 providing general commercial printed products for business, government, and industry accounts, including forms, stationery, manuals, books, magazines, periodicals, etc. The company actually can trace its roots to the early 1950’s through its predecessor company Offset Centre, Inc. K-B was one of the first companies to offer full-color offset in large format sheet sizes, with complete bindery support.
In 1992, Express-Tech Volume Printing Centers was created to market and produce digital printed products for the printing trade as well as high-volume commercial and printing trade accounts. The primary production was forms management systems, print-on-demand, and digital workflow alternatives. Express-Tech and K-B merged in 1995, with the K-B name surviving.
In 1999 we expanded our leadership role in the combination of digital and offset when we integrated the Agfa Apogee workflow system as well as the Presstek digital direct imaging technology. Both were pioneer installations of this process. Our considerable investment in human and capital resources to manage this process has made ours the blueprint that most printers have imitated on a national level.
Also in 1999 after acquiring equipment, assets, and personnel from an independent 12-year old company, we created Centre Mailing Services to provide full letter-shop and data management services including mailing list acquisition, addressing, variable data, mailing operations, data management, product assembly, and fulfillment services.
We also employ in-house and contracted creative and design personnel, pre-press specialists, estimators, production managers and planners, production personnel, mailing and logistics staff, and financial managers. We are a true “full-service” and “single-source” management operation for all print and graphic communication requirements.
All of our systems and production techniques are of the latest technology (to the extent possible in a rapidly-changing environment) and have been maintained to allow the current technology to be easily integrated to new opportunities.
We have built a philosophy of finding answers to questions, and alternatives for our clients. Our capacity for expansion and growth is virtually unlimited, since we have built our basic foundation on the systems management, not limiting ourselves to the capacity of equipment-only.
