PARIS (France) — K-B Offset Printing, Inc / theprinters.com. was recently issued a five-year Chain-of-Custody certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), an independent non-profit promoting responsible management of the world’s forests.

Chain of Custody certification monitors material used to manufacture paper from forest to paper mill to consumer. Certification guarantees that FSC-labeled paper used by K-B Offset originated from well-managed forests, controlled sources and reclaimed materials.

KB Offset’s compliance is monitored and audited by independent, third party verification.

As of December 2008 there were approximately 1600 FSC-certified printers in the United States and only 100 in Pennsylvania.
